Supporting Mecoxi’s positioning in the security and defence sectors

 

Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L. has been awarded financial support under the Xunta de Galicia’s IN519G programme, aimed at strengthening the position of Galician companies as suppliers of goods, services and solutions in the security and defence sectors.

Through this programme, Mecoxi will move forward with the implementation of a quality management system in accordance with PECAL/AQAP standards and with the certification of systems or products.

Mecanizados y Oxicortes strengthens its production capacity with the support of IGAPE and the European Union

 

Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L. has completed a project to expand its production capacity through the acquisition of a new CNC lathe at its facilities in Mos, Pontevedra.

This investment has enabled the company to strengthen its production capabilities, improve the precision and efficiency of its machining processes, and enhance its competitiveness. It also allows the company to respond more quickly to its customers’ needs while contributing to the growth of its industrial activity.

The project involved an eligible investment of €745,000 and received a grant of €260,750, awarded by the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (IGAPE) and co-financed by the European Union through the Galicia ERDF Programme 2021–2027. This programme aims to promote the competitiveness and sustainable growth of SMEs through productive investment.

Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L. has received a grant for Accións de promoción exterior (External Promotion Actions), aimed at boosting the international projection of SMEs and their products and services, by encouraging the implementation of external promotion activities that generate competitive advantages. This grant is part of the IG622A – Galicia Exporta Empresas (Galicia Exports Companies) program from IGAPE.
Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L. has been awarded funding under the Incentive Program 1, 2 and 3 linked to self-consumption and storage in the services sector and other productive sectors, within the framework of the European Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU (procedure code IN421W). This initiative strengthens our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.

Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L. has been a beneficiary of the grant program managed by Axencia Galega de Desenvolvemento Rural (AGADER) and co-funded by Fondo Europeo de Desenvolvemento Rural. This program aims to support the creation and development of viable non-agricultural economic activities, with the goal of generating new jobs and promoting economic revitalization in rural areas through investment projects in non-agricultural activities.
MECOXI – Mecanizados y Oxicortes, S.L has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to achieve a more competitive business fabric and thanks to the fact that it has participated in the visit to the Hannover Industrial Fair (Germany) to promote its internationalization. This action took place in April 2017. For this, it has had the support of the International Promotion Program of the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo and Vilagarcía. A way of making Europe.
